Stripchat Patch Notes: October 2026
Key changes made on Stripchat from May to August 2026.
Many of the updates in these Patch Notes were driven by feedback shared on our Discord. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to send us feedback and report issues. It helps us see what matters to the community and where Stripchat can do better.
Improvements
Top Models Ranking Tiers
We redesigned the Top Models rankings to make different positions easier to distinguish. Separate Top 100 and Top 1000 tiers give you a clearer view of your achievements and make each new position feel more rewarding.
Picture-in-picture for models
Picture-in-picture is now available for models, too, just as it is for users. Your stream stays visible in a floating window as you browse the platform. To try it, click the three-dot menu at the top of your stream and enable Mini Player.
Fan Club Discount Calls to Action
We tested updated Fan Club discount calls to action in the Public chat for users without a Fan Club subscription. The new messages highlight Fan Club benefits in a clearer, less overwhelming way.
See Your Stream as Viewers Do
You can now see your stream the way your audience does, including how pixelization appears on the viewer’s side. Use the toggle in the bottom left corner below your stream window to switch between Camera Mode and Viewer Mode.
Automatic Refunds for Canceled Ticket Shows
Before you stop a Public show or cancel an upcoming Ticket show, you’ll receive a notice. Users who bought tickets will get their refunds automatically.
Prioritizing Unread Admin Messages
Admin messages now stay pinned to the top of your inbox until you read them. Our Community Managers may reach out to get to know you, help with an issue, or offer marketing opportunities. We’d love to stay in touch, so keep an eye out.
Hide Recently Uploaded Content
Models and users can now hide content they no longer need from the Recently uploaded tab in Messenger, so they can keep it free of unnecessary content. To use this feature, click the camera icon in Messenger, open the Recently uploaded tab, and click Edit. You can then select what to hide.
Indian Language Categories
We added 11 Indian language categories to the All Categories page, including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Assamese. We also updated their descriptions to make these categories easier to find and browse.
Hebrew and Bulgarian Languages
We expanded the Stripchat interface localization to include Hebrew and Bulgarian, allowing more users to browse in their preferred language.
Additional Improvements
We made a range of improvements, including reducing stream lag, creating a category page for The Handy, adding missing translations for Private activities, and fixing an issue that caused long model names to shift upwards.
Fixes
Correct Gender Categories
We fixed an issue that caused some accounts with guys and girls to appear in the Guys section. These accounts are now listed in the correct gender category based on the selected streamer.
Direct Video Links
We corrected the issue that prevented videos from opening when users accessed them through a direct URL.
Fan Club Subscription Buttons
We resolved an issue that caused the subscribe buttons to stop working when users returned to the Join Fan Club screen after opening Buy Tokens.
MKV Video Uploads
We corrected how MKV uploads work. You can now upload videos in this format without errors.
